Ingredients for Lemon Soup:
Red Gram-1/4 Cup Asafoetida-1 piece Coriander-1/4 Spoon Pepper-1/4 Spoon Small Lemon-1 Mustard-1/4 Spoon Cumin-1/4 Spoon Salt-1 tsp Rasam Powder-1 tsp Tomato-1
Proceudre to make Lemon Soup:
1. Take a vessel, add dhal along with 1/2 cup of water and allow to boil well. Then mash the tomato, then add along with rasam powder, salt, asafoetida and allow to boil for 5 minutes. Then add boiled dhal and squeeze the lemon and then garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves and then remove from flame. 2. Heat a pan, add coriander, pepper and fry them for 2 minutes and grind them finely along with cumin seed and put in to soup. Do not fry the cumin seeds. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, curry leaves and let to splutter and add in to soup.
