இந்தியாவில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் கோவை மாவட்டத்தில் செல்வபுரத்தில் பிறந்து வளர்ந்த நான் (பாஸ்கர்) சிறு வயது முதலேயே ஒரு நோயாளி உடல் முழுவது தோள்களில் நிறைய புண்கள் இருக்கும். இதற்காக ரோஸ் கலரில் ஒரு மருந்தை சிறு வயது முதலாகவே உடல் முழுவதும் எப்பொழுதும் தடவிக்கொண்டே இருப்பேன். மேலும் அடிக்கடி தலைவலி வரும். அந்தத் தலைவலி வந்தால் தற்கொலை செய்து கொள்ளலாம் என்று தோன்றும். அந்த அளவுக்கு கொடுமையாக இருக்கும். மேலும் தாங்க முடியாத வயிற்று வழியும், மலச்சிக்கலும், கண் பார்வை சரியாக தெரியாமலும் இருக்கும். மேலும் தூக்கமின்மை, சப்தத்தைக் கேட்டால் அலர்ஜி இது போன்ற பல நோய்களால் கடுமையாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டு சிறு வயது முதலாகவே சிரமப்பட்டு வந்தேன். எனது அம்மா மற்றும் அப்பாவிடம் தலைவலிக்கிறது என்று கூறினால் அவர்கள் தைலம் வாங்கிக் கொடுப்பார்கள். ஆல்லது ஏதாவது ஒரு மாத்திரையை வாங்கிக் கொடுப்பார்கள். ஆனால் அது எனக்குப் போதவில்லை. அதை மீறி தலைவலி வரும். வரும்பொழுது தாங்க முடியாத அளவுக்கு வேதனையும். வழியும் இருக்கும். சிறு வயது முதலாகவே எங்கள் ஊரிலுள்ள ஒரு மருத்துவரிடம் நான் மாதத்திற்கு இரண்டு முறையாவது செல்வேன். அவரும் பல மருந்துக்களையும், மாத்திரைகளையும் ஊசிகளையும் கொடுத்துக் கொண்டே இருப்பார். நான் ஒரு நாள் அவரிடம் எனக்கு ஏன் இப்படிச் சிரமங்கள் வருகிறது ஏன் வீட்டில் மற்றவர்களுக்கு வரவில்லை, எனக்கு மட்டும் வருகிறதே. இதற்குக் காரணம் என்ன? என்று தெரிந்து கொண்டால் எனக்கு வசதியாக இருக்குமென்று அந்த மருத்துவரிடம் கேள்வி கேட்டேன். அதற்கு அவர் கூறினார். MBBS படித்தால் மட்டுமே உனக்குப் புரியும் என்றார் அப்பொழுதுதான் புரிந்து கொண்டேன். அவருக்கும் அது தெரியவில்லை என்று எனவே அவர் மீது கோபப்பட்டு, அதன் பிறகு நான் அவரைச் சந்திக்கவே இல்லை. இதன் பிறகு ஹோமியோபதியில் பல வருடங்களாக லேகியம் சாப்பிட்டு வந்தேன், பிறகு இயற்கை மருத்துவம், அக்கு பஞ்சர், மூலிகை, சித்த மருத்துவம் என்று நான் பார்க்காத வைத்தியமே கிடையாது. நான் பல ஊர்களுக்குப் பல வைத்தியத்திட்குப் பல ரூபாய் செலவு செய்து சென்று வந்தேன். ஆனால் என நோய்கள் மட்டுமே தீரவேயில்லை. நான் ஒரு B.E பட்டதாரி, 1995 ல் காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டத்தில் உத்திரமேரூரில் மீனாட்சி அம்மாள் பாலிடெக்னிக்கில் டிப்ளமா சிவில் படித்தேன். மேலும் 1998 ல் கோயம்புத்தூர் இன்ஸ்டிட்யுட் ஆப் டெக்னாலஜி என்ற கல்லூரியில் B.E CIVIL ENGINEERING முடித்தேன். அதுவரை பொருளாதார ரீதியான பணம் ஏதும் கையில் இல்லாததால் பாட்டில் வைத்தியம், இயற்கை வைத்தியம் மட்டுமே அதிகமாகப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தேன். அதன் பிறகு வேலைக்குச் சென்றேன் L&T கோயமுத்தூர் விமான நிலையம், சென்ன, மகாராஷ்ட்ரா, வீராணம் திட்டம், ICICI வங்கி மற்றும் பல ஊர்களில் பல நிறுவனங்களில் பணி புரிந்தேன். எனக்கு ஆரம்பத்தில் 2,000 ரூபாய் சம்பளத்தில் இருந்து கடைசியாக ஒரு லட்சம் சம்பளம் வரை வேலை செய்து வந்தேன். பணம் அதிகமாக, அதிகமாக பணம் அதிகமாக செலவு செய்தால் நாளில் இனிமேல் ஒன்றுமே முடியாது என்ற நிலையில் அந்த நிறுவனத்திலிருந்து சொல்லாமல் கொள்ளாமல் ஓடி வந்து விட்டேன். ஓடிவந்த நான் ஒரு வருடமாக வீட்டிலேயே படுத்த படுக்கையாக இருந்தேன். அப்பொழுதுதான் நான் ஒரு முடிவுக்கு வந்தேன். இனிமேல் என் உடலுக்கு நான்தான் மருத்துவர். உடலில் பல மருத்துவர்கள் நிறைய படுத்துக் கொண்டு, தன் பெயருக்குப் பின்னால் ABCD என அனைத்து எழுத்துக்களையும் போட்டுள்ளார்கள். ஆனால் எந்த நோயையும் குணப்படுத்த தெரிவதில்லை. நோயை குணப்படுத்த தெரியாத இவர்கள் என் மருத்துவர்கள் கிடையாது என்று முடிவெடுத்து இனி என வாழ்க்கையில் என் உடலுக்கு நான் தான் மருத்துவர் என்று நான் என் உடலை என் கையில் எடுத்துக் கொண்டேன். சிறு வயது முதலே பல புத்தகங்களைப் படிப்பேன். அதில் மருத்துவ சம்பந்தப்பட்ட விஷயங்களை மட்டும் கட் செய்து புத்தகத்தில் ஒட்டி வைப்பேன். இப்படி என் வீட்டில் பல புத்தகங்கள் உள்ளன. அந்தப் புத்தகத்தில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள அந்த சிகிச்சையை நான் எனக்கு அனுபவப் பூர்வமாக பல மாதங்கள் செய்து பார்ப்பேன். ஆனால் அதில் எந்த இலாபமும் கிடைப்பதில்லை. உதாரணமாக, தலைவலி குணமாக இதைச் செய்யுங்கள் என்று ஒரு வெளியே வந்து விட்டேன். அவரைத் திட்டினேன். இவரெல்லாம். ஒரு மனிதரா ஒரே விஷயத்தை இரண்டு மணி நேரம் மொக்கை போடுகிறாரே என்று திட்டிவிட்டு வீட்டுக்கு வந்தேன். சரி அவர் சொன்னதைச் செய்து பார்க்கலாம் என்று ஒரு வாரம் செய்தேன். அப்பொழுதுதான் புரிந்தது என் உடலில் ஒரு மிகப்பெரிய மாற்றம் ஏற்பட்டது. ஒரு சின்ன விஷயத்தை நமது பழக்க வழக்கத்தை மாற்றுவதன் மூலமாக நோய்கள் குணமாகும் என்பதை அன்றுதான் புரிந்து கொண்டேன். ஜீன்ஸ், இறைத்துகள், விண்துகள் என இருபது பக்கத்தில் என் அறிவுக்கண்ணைத் திறப்பதற்கு ஒரு நல்ல விஷயம் கிடைத்தது. அதைப் படிக்கும் பொழுதுதான் என் மனதில் ஒரு தீப்பற்றியது. உடலில் உள்ள அனைத்து செல்களும் Scientist-டாலும் குணப்படுத்த முடியாது என்பதைப் புரிந்து கொண்டேன். I, Baskar, was born in Selvapuram in the city of Coimbatore, Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu, India. I was sick since my childhood. I used to have sores on my skin all over my body.
