INGREDIENTS for dal makhani: Black Gram-1cup Big Onion-1 Tomato-3 Ginger Paste-2tsp Garlic Paste-2tsp Chilly Powder-2tsp Coriander Powder-1tsp Salt-Enough Need Butter-2tbsp Cinnamon-1Piece Cumin Seed-1/2tsp Turmeric powder-1Pinch PROCEDURE to make dal Makhani: 1. Wash black gram and soak in water. Put black gram in pressure cooker along with water, allow 3 whistles and reduce the flame for 5 minutes. Chop onion and tomatoes. Heat butter in a pan, add onion and sauté well. Then add ginger garlic paste, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and fry well. 2. Then add tomato, salt and fry till tomatoes turn soft. Then add boiled gram together with masala and let to boil well. Then heat butter in another pan, add cinnamon, cumin seed and season them and put in to cooked gram. Turn off the stove. We can add fresh cream for taste. |
