தேவையானவை : கடலைப்பருப்பு - 4 டீஸ்பூன் உளுத்தம்பருப்பு - 2 டீஸ்பூன் மிளகாய்வற்றல் - 3 வெந்தயம் -அரைத் டீஸ்பூன் புளி -4 டீஸ்பூன் விழுது உப்பு -தேவையான அளவு தேங்காய் -2 டீஸ்பூன் எண்ணெய் -அரை டீஸ்பூன் கொத்தமல்லி -தேவையான அளவு மிளகு -ஒரு டீஸ்பூன் சீரகம் -ஒரு டீஸ்பூன் தக்காளி -2 செய்முறை : 1.ஒரு வாணலியில் எண்ணெய் ஊற்றி பருப்புகள், மிளகு, மிளகாய்வற்றல், சீரகம், வெந்தயம் ஆகியவற்றை வறுத்து எடுக்கவும்.வருத்தவற்றுடன் புளி, தேங்காய் மற்றும் ஒரு தக்காளி சேர்த்து அரைக்கவும்.மீதித் தக்காளியை நறுக்கிப் போட்டு அரைத்த விழுதையும் சேர்த்து, தேவையான உப்பு போட்டு திட்டமாக தண்ணீர் விட்டு கரைத்துக் கொள்ளவும். 2.பிரஷர் குக்கரில் கரைத்தவற்றை ஒரு பாத்திரத்தில் ஊற்றி வைத்து ஒரு விசில் வந்ததும் இறக்கி விடவும்.பிறகு கொத்தமல்லி தழையை போட்டு நெய்யில் கடுகு, கறிவேப்பிலை தாளித்து ஊற்றவும். |

Ingredients for Mangalore Soup:
Bengal Gram-4 tsp Black Gram-2 tsp Dry Chilly-3 Fenegreek-1/2 tsp Tamarind-4 tsp Salt-as Needed Coconut-2 tsp Oil-1/2 tsp Coriander -as Needed Pepper-1 tsp Cumin Seed-1 tsp Tomato-2
Procedure to make Mangalore Soup:
1. Heat oil in a pan, add given grams, pepper, dry chilly, cumin seed, fenugreek and fry well. Grind the fried ingredients along with tamarind, coconut and 1 tomato. chop the remaining tomatoes and mix with grinded paste, salt and water to make a thick mixure. 2. Transfer this mixure in a bowl and put this bowl in to a pressure cooker and allow three whistles and then remove from flame. Then garnish with corinader leaves. Heat ghee in a pan, add mustard, curry leaves and let to splutter and put over the soup.
