Ingredients for Mutton Leg Salna:
Mutton Leg-4 Onion-2(Chopped) Tomato-2(Chopped0 Coriander Powder-3tsp Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp Chilly Powder-1tsp Ginger, Garlic Paste-2tsp Garam Masala-1/4tsp Oil-2tbsp Coriander Leaves, Curry Leaves-Little (Chopped) Green Chilly-2 Grated Coconut-4tbsp Cashew Nuts-8 Maida-2tbsp Salt- as Needed Pepper powder-1tsp Cumin powder-1tsp
Procedure to make Mutton Leg Salna:
1. Make a paste of coconut and cashew nuts finely. Marinate the washed mutton legs along with maida and salt for few hours. Put the marinated mutton legs in pressure cooker along with chopped onion, tomato, coriander leaves, given masala powder, ginger, garlic paste and add water to cover this masala and allow to boil well. 2. Then cover the cooker and allow 3 whistle, and then put in low flame. If mutton legs are fresh pieces it will take half an hour to cook, unless it takes 1 hour. Then add grinded coconut, and cashew nuts. Allow medium flame for ¼ hour. When coconut raw smell subsides, remove from flame. Salna is ready. Now heat oil in a pan, fry onion and curry leaves and put in to salna. |
