Carrot Soup | ||||||||
Ingredients for Carrot Soup:
Carrot-1 Tamarind-Small Lemon Size Dry Chilly-1 Curry Leaves-1 Bunch Pepper, Cumin-Each 1/2 tsp Asafoetida-1/4 tsp Coriander-Hand Pinch Salt-2 tsp Ghee-2 tsp Bengal Gram (Split), Black Gram, Red Gram-Each 1 tsp Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp Mustard- 1/2 tsp
Procedure to make Carrot Soup:
1. Take a vessel, add carrot along with water, boil well and mash it. Heat oil in a pan, add pepper, cumin and given grams and fry till get golden color and grind them. Soak the tamarind, mix with 2 cup of water and filter it. 2. Add the tamarind juice along with mashed carrot, grinded powder, chopped curry leaves, coriander leaves, turmeric powder and salt and then allow to boil for 5 minutes, then remove from flame. Heat ghee in another small pan, add mustard and let to splutter, then add asafoetida, dry chilly and fry them and then put in to soup. Tasty carrot rasam is ready.
